SARANDA- Security measures have also been imposed on the owner of the “Orange Club”, Spiro Iljadhi, as well as on the manager Ermal Vata, in connection with the episode of violence against the head of the Crimes Department of Saranda, Mateo Bakalli, on the morning of August 16. The prosecution had requested the measure of arrest in prison, but the Court has imposed a lighter security measure, that of compulsory appearance. Both will be investigated at large for the criminal offense of “Actions that hinder the discovery of the truth”.
According to lawyer Arben Llangozi, the measure was imposed in the consultation room and is related to the footage of the security cameras. He claims that the subject stores the footage through the NVR (Network Video Recorder) system, a video recorder connected to the network, and not on the DVR.
The Crimes Department was raped by the bodyguards of “Orange”, one of the most famous nightclubs in the coastal city of Saranda. The fight initially started between security guards and several customers outside the bar, while crime boss Mateo Bakalli intervened to quell the conflict.
