13 years from January 21, Bushati: A stain of shame for the country's history

The former Foreign Minister, Ditmir Bushati, today remembered the victims of January 21, 2011.
In a post made on Facebook, he writes that this event was a stain of shame in the country's history.
"In addition to being tragic for the fate of the four protesters, January 21, 2011, brought out from the recesses of human consciousness primitive instincts, where politicians, propagandists and national televisions competed to defend the state crime, relativizing the lost human lives, and attempted to overthrow the hierarchy of values that are the connective tissue of every society.
The lack of justice weighs not only on the families of the murdered protesters, but also on our conscience as a society.
In order for the right to be sought even against the state itself, only magistrates with integrity, able to deliver the missing justice, are not enough. Everyone should do what they have to do, to contribute to a more honest and fair government. Because justice, first of all, is the spirit of government.
May the memory of Aleks Nika, Ziver Veizi, Hekuran Deda, Faik Myrtaj be eternal" , writes Bushati.
