The number of people infected with coronavirus in Greece reaches seven. The news has been confirmed by the Ministry of Health.
According to Greek media, the three new cases have been recorded in Athens and Thessaloniki. It is learned that two of them have been in contact with those affected which resulted to be infected with the dangerous virus.
The other person is a man who has recently traveled to Italy.
The World Health Organization has announced that the threat level of the virus is very high.
Coronavirus circulates on four continents, with the death toll continuing to rise. Worldwide, the death toll has risen to 2941, with more than 83,000 infected.
Meanwhile, starting Saturday night, Turkey decided to cancel passenger flights with Italy, Iraq and South Korea.
The news came from Turkey’s Health Minister Fahrettin Koca.
In a Twitter announcement, he said flights to these countries were canceled, but did not provide a timeline for the measure.
